I am new to all of this blogging stuff! I am so eager to introduce myself to this new world! I know blogging takes disipline … something I am short on sometimes. Actually I don’t know if it’s the disipline I am short on or time. Do I hear an Amen??
Anyway, back to my introduction. i like you is a duo … my name is Sarah – pleased to meet you.
I am fast approaching what some may consider to be middle -aged. I am the mother of 3. I am re-inventing myself. In my former life / career I was “Super-Server Sarah” (a name actually given to me by some super fabulous customers). I worked in the service / bar / restarant industry for 20 years. If I may say so …. I am a pretty damn good server! However, my belief being it is better to bow out gracefully at the top of your game, than to slide slowly down the age induced slippery slope of what once was …. “I was once” “back when I was” “you should have seen me when” – dah, ta-dah, ta-dumb. Come on! nobody wants someone who resembles their mom killing the buzz with references to music they have never heard of. As an afterthought, I really don’t look like your typical mom. In fact some times I get the feeling some people think people that look like me shouldn’t be allowed children.
I have turned a new corner in life”s travels. Ang (my better half in – i like you- I’m sure she’ll be contributing soon) and I opened a crafty little hand made goods consignment store featuring local talent. Our store – i like you- is located in south minneapolis. It is a quaint little shop full of color and creative spark! We make a variety of things as well as have over 50 consigners. I am hoping to use this blog as a means to showoff some of minneapolis’s finest crafters!
Hooray for a new blog!!!
I love the blog! I can’t wait until I can get back up to see the shop and you lovely ladies!

Where are the photos of you and your partner? What’s a blog without the author’s photo?
Dear Sarah, Angela and ilikeyou fans,
just when i thought your biz-nez could not get cooler, it has!Congrats on the blog, it has been bookmarked with zeal.
We Minneapolitans are so lucky to have this amazing store.
Enjoy the fair, make some spin art.

Love the blog – great idea!
I agree with Nan, you should have a photo of you two lovely ladies!
I can’t wait until I can visit your shop again (maybe a little Christmas shopping?)
You two are my favorite artsy ladies, and I love visiting the store. I tell anyone who will listen or….(I bring them there)…. that they need to get over there for their giftys.
Love to you…
Hello my fellow squirrel lovers! Great blog! Love it! Be sure to check out the Elk Breeders Association booth at the fair. My Father-in-law will be working the booth this Sunday, I may get roped into helping too.
I’ve been meaning to stop in to drop off new and exciting pieces, but life sometimes gets in the way of life. I’ll see you two soon I’m sure!
Hi, again. Daughter Linda and I visited your store only to find out you were in Chicago and your Mom was minding the inventory. It was most good to see her again and Lovely LuLu who gave Linda a big hug. By the way, the gals at my work think she’s the sweetest little gal. Actaully, both “L’s” are pretty special. Your store is super and could have spent a lot more time looking and visiting with Mom but had to get to Andover for a football game for Devin. Upon arriving there, found out they were playing against some of Harlan’s relatives so a good rivalry ensued. Will come visit when you are around. Also think pictures are a necessity – so get with it!
LUV,
Great blog, Sarah! So glad you’ve managed to express creative genes in our family.
You go, girls (Angela, too)!
Luv ya’
Auntie
Sarah,
I like your blog – I LOVE your store! You and Angela are both very talented and it’s great to see you using it!

Why go to hallmark, target or wal-mart for a quick gift or card?? “I Like You” has all the nick-knacks you need for that fix. Waldo supports definately support super locals like these. Good Job gals!
